In an effort to augment scientific excellence in emerging areas of science & technology, the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) in association with Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC) of Department of Science and Technology (DST) launched the Indo-US Research Fellowships in 2007

Young researchers under 40 years of age can apply for the IUSSTF Research Fellowships to carry out research in frontier areas of science & technology at any premier institution in USA upto a period of 12 months.
